For all luxury items, We Shop Extra only sells authentic items. If the Buyer wishes to authenticate the item, it is mandatory for the Seller to pay a $40.00 authentication fee. The Seller will pay the cost immediately and an additional $50.00 fee to We Shop Extra before We Shop Extra assists in the authentication of the item(s). For Hermes handbags and clutches, the Seller is required to pay a $125.00 fee to We Shop Extra and an additional $50.00 fee.
The item(s) will be verified by a trusted third-party company called Entrupy. If item(s) is deemed inauthentic, the item(s) will be returned immediately at the cost of the Seller and the additional fee will be kept with We Shop Extra. If the item(s) is deemed authentic, the fee will be returned to the Seller once the item has sold.
We Shop Extra will contact the Seller within 3 business days of item being sold and will require the Seller’s preferred method of deposit. E-transfers can be sent immediately or We Shop Extra can also provide a cheque.
Pictures of the item(s) can be sent to We Shop Extra or arrangements can be made for pick up or delivery of the item(s). We Shop Extra will contact the Seller to determine the listing price of the item unless the Seller has an initial asking price. Research will be done by We Shop Extra and images of the same or similar item(s) found online will be sent to the Seller to discuss pricing of the item(s) if there is no initial asking price. We Shop Extra takes photos of the item(s), provides a detailed description, lists the asking price and authenticates it (if necessary) etc. If the item(s) is too large to be given to We Shop Extra, photos can be sent to We Shop Extra and the Seller will keep the item(s) until it has been sold.
We Shop Extra will sell new and preowned items for family, friends and friends of friends. We Shop Extra will sell items through our website, social media and through word of mouth. The selection of items that are sellable/re-sellable are at We Shop Extra’s own discretion.
Consignment Terms & Item Pricing
Price is determined according to current market value based on various resources. Initial price must be agreed upon between Shop Extra and seller. Each item is listed for sale on our website for a maximum of 180 days.
After 45 days Shop Extra reserves the right to reduce the sale price by up to 10% at its own discretion, in order to promote sale of the item. After 90 days Shop Extra reserves the right to reduce the sale price by up to 20%. After 120 days, prices for our items are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the sale of the item(s) (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the sale of the items. The seller will be consulted on any further price reduction. You may contact us at any time to discuss pricing and selling options to a lower price for a faster sale.
